I think Annie wants to help Helen because she was also blind and she does not want Helen to go through what she did. In the book it said that Annie had nine operations and I think that it cost a lot of money on her parents because it may heve been expensive. Also on page 28 Annie says "You didn't bring Helen, I was hoping you would.". It made me think that Annie was excited to work with someone just like her because she knows how it feels being blind and not being able to see and enjoy the world. That is why I think Annie wants to help Helen.

She she wants to help Helen becuase she was blind and she knows what it feels like to be blind . I found that on page 33, pragraph 1 , line 1-7 . There is one more example on page 32 where it says she puts hands on Helen's arms...

I predict that Annie does want to help Helen because sshe knows how hard is it to be blind. Annie doesnt also want Helen's parents to spend so much money on trying to help Helen. On page 29, paragraph 2, Annie has said she has also been blind and have to have perations on her eyes. Annie probably does not want Helen to go through that.

Excellent comment. Your evidence from the text supports your reason that Annie wants to help Helen. Please find one more example from the text that shows that Annie wants to help Helen. This is your opinion so as long as you can tell us why this made you think Annie wants to help Helen it is correct. Please make sure you put the page number, and paragraph like you did in this comment. This is an excellent example for everyone to follow, I am so proud of you!

When Helen is trying to get the food off Annie's plate Annie makes Helen keep a spoon in her hand so she can learn manners and when Annie wants complete control of Helen she wants to help Helen because she is blind and deaf too. Those are my two reasons Annie wants to help Helen.

When Annie tries to get Helen to keep the spoon in her hand in my perspective Annie is trying to help Helen learn manners and be polite. The second reason I think Annie is trying to help Helen is when she uses the hand technique to teach Helen how to almost spell. Those are my reasons Annie wants to help Helen.

I think that Annie wants to help Helen because Annie is also blind and she had nine operations. It may have been expensive on her parents and she doesn't want the kellers to pay a lot of money for operations. Also on page 28 Annie says "You didn't bring Helen, I was hoping you would.". Hello Daysha! Of coarse I remember you! It is so good to hear from you and I want to know how everything is going? Are you still working toward your goals, have they changed? How is everyone else doing, do you have anyone from our class in your classes now, if so tell them I think about all of you frequently and hope you remember what you learned and to never stop fighting for your dreams and goals.
