The credit should go to Danicia who came up with the idea and wanted to share from her journal. Danicia, will you please explain how you got the idea and why that would help promote equality please?

What gave me this thought was, when I was watching zootopia dont want to spoil it but there was part that i was thinking about the whole movie and then the it just popped in my head tha part was like how men and women arent treaded equaly so i stared to investigate in this subjectand then i noticed that at school it was happening even more so i yesterday i thought about it but then today i decided to actually make a statement. So thats what started all this

I think that people think that women shouldn't be treated equal because that is what the past taught us but this is the future.👍🏼

Makaila, What do you see now that shows that women are or are not treated equally?

We discussed different countries and cultural beliefs on gender equality. When you are discussing this issue please make sure you are giving evidence to support your opinions respectfully either from research or your experiences and make sure you tell us specifically are you talking about the American Culture, home culture, or a different culture. Also, use the "Disagreeing" respectfully sentence starters on the poster in the back of the classroom if you are disagreeing.

To be truthful women where part of the way the human kind repopulated!! But it is unbelevible that some men in DIFFERENT contries treat women unfairly. For example in Saudi Arabia women where not able to go to school, and now they have to be approved by their father or husband!!!!

To be in the same line as boys is awsome *Thumbs up*.An example is that if you have friends that are boys you can still stick with them in line . But a down part is that there will be more noise and chatter.

I am interested in two things, why do you think many teachers including myself before this idea separate boys and girls, and why do you think the lines will be louder?? Think of as many possible reasons and perspectives. You can also research gender equality and add to our discussion. Links about gender equality for research would be nice!

Why do you think girls and boys should be sorted, and do you mean separated by gender?

It is a proven fact that it takes longer for men to mature than woman, and with everyone I have seen that it is an instict when boys are raising their hand and a girl is raising their hand I have seen that no matter what the sub will choose the boy.I have a lot more to say but i will say it later

The added noise of girls and boys talking will add to the regular noise unless your a good student.
